Concept

Food for Thought is a sharing economy concept based around a website and an app. The idea is to bring together elderly people who have knowledge about a certain subject, and families whose children need a tutor for their homework. In exchange for the tutoring, the elderly eat a meal with the family when the homework is done. No money is involved. The elderly get to feel useful and knowledgeable, get out of their home, have some social contact and a free meal, while the parents get some free time and the kids get help with their homework: win/win/win situation.
